Having sent our cheque amounting to £200 in support of the VTT
project in Kampala Uganda caring for children born with severe
hearing defects that is being
instigated by the Rotary Club of Luton North,
I have now received a letter of thanks for our donation from the treasurer of
the Rotary Club of Luton North, Paul Denton, wishing us all a happy Christmas
and an enjoyable New year.
The Mulled Wine & Mince Pie morning at Gamlingay was seemingly
a pleasant occasion although down on numbers the entrance fee and the sale of
raffle tickets raised £213.25 which will support the Polio project. Just to say many thanks to Helen and Fred for
their valued enthusiasm and involvement.
